“Accomodating National Diversity. A History of Non-Territorial Autonomy in Europe” (in German) is the synthesis of the ERC project “Non-Territorial Autonomy. History of a Travelling Idea“.
This book studies the intellectual and political history of this concept. It tackles its origins in the Habsburg and Russian Empires. It entangles the transfer processes between these multinational empires with the developments in the interwar period.
