Youtube video on Karl Renner’s concept of non-territorial autonomy (NTA) by Börries Kuzmany and Bernhard Aigner

This video visualises the main ideas of Karl Renner’s 1902 book The Struggle of the Austrian Nations for the State, in which he suggested to transform Imperial Austria into a federation of ethnic groups based on territorial and non-territorial national autonomy. This text is widely considered as one of the corner stones of the concept of non-territorial autonomy – a group rights approach to manage ethno-national diversity within a state. Börries Kuzmany and Bernhard Aigner, together with KOMA Design Studio, produced this video in collaboration with the COST European Non-Territorial Autonomy Network (ENTAN).
