Gennadii Korolov - a new NTAutonomy- research fellow

Dr. Gennadii Korolov received two degrees (Ph.D. and Habilitation) at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv. His second dissertation was devoted to the intellectual history of federalist ideas and projects in East Central Europe from 1815 until 1921. Presently, he is an associate professor at the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and an associate of the Institute of History, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.

His current project examines the history of  Polish national autonomy in revolutionary Ukraine in 1917-1923. The main part of the research considers the perception and understanding of the idea of national autonomy by the Polish democratic movement and their attitudes toward Ukraine's state independence.

His research stay is sponsored by ENTAN in the framework of a Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM).
