Anna Adorjáni and Timo Aava participated in the workshop “Self-Determination, Popular Sovereignty and Visions of World Order: a Long-Term Historical Perspective” at the University of Tartu. The workshop took place between 16 and 18 June.

Anna’s paper, entitled “Everyday Wilson,” focussed on the naive interpretations of national self-determination in Hungary at the end of the war. Timo’s paper was entitled “Interpreting Non-Territorial Autonomy in Estonia in 1917”.

The workshop, held between 16-18 June, was organised by the team of the research project “Self-Determination of Peoples in Historical Perspective” at the University of Tartu.
